The application for accreditation must be filled in, agreed with and sent to the leader of the board:

(1) I am applying to become accredited as

  • A Training Course Owner,
  • A Training Course Provider,
  • A Trainer,
  • Or a combination of those above

(2) Certification Level, Certification Level Module and Language:

  • Foundation Level
  • Advanced Level (which modules?)
  • Language ________________

(3) This is a

  • first application
  • request for reaccreditation

(4) Contact information of individuals authorized to represent the organization and to supply needed information:

  • Name(s), postal address, phone, email.

(5) My organization agrees to comply with the requirements for accreditation and to supply any information needed for the evaluation.

(6) The required fees will be paid.

The material submitted by an applicant Training Course Owner for evaluation includes:

a)     Course agenda showing details of topics and their duration (cross-reference);

b)     Coverage matrix against the relevant ISTQB syllabus showing exact content in the course material that addresses each item in the syllabus (cross-reference);

c)     Trainer’s presentation graphics with any appended notes;

d)     Full set of handouts, exercises, and other supplements provided to students. If the training provider supplies students with copies of recommended books, in place or in addition to student notes, a copy of the book shall be supplied to assist the board in the accreditation process.

e)     Clear evidence that all K3 and above level learning objectives have associated exercises which the attendee must complete during the course.

The material submitted by an applicant Training Course Provider for evaluation shall include:

a)     The course material

  1. Identification of accredited course material to be used;
  2. Documentation of agreement (such as licensing) with Training Course Owner, if other than applicant;
  3. Proof of accreditation of the course material to be used, if the material is licensed from a course owner) (which may be an e-mail reference to the accrediting board);

b)     The trainer(s)

  1. Documentation that the trainer(s) hold the certification which they intend to teach;
  2. Documentation of each proposed trainer’s testing and training experience (requirements: see under Application for trainer accreditation);
  3. Documentation of each proposed trainer’s ability to speak and write the language to be used in training;

c)     Facilities to be used

  1. Description of facilities in which training is to be conducted. (Optional)

Note: The Board reserves the right to check the training by an audit during the first year after accreditation and withdraw accreditation if the training is not good enough.

 

The material submitted by an applicant Trainer for evaluation shall include:

a)     Identification of the training course provider the applicant intends to work for (has to be an accredited training course provider);

b)     Documentation that the certification(s) corresponding to the level for the training are held;

c)     CV (describing testing and training experience during the last years);

  1. Required testing experience: at least two years with significant testing responsibilities for foundation training, at least five years for advanced training;
  2. Required training experience: at least one recent year with significant training responsibilities. Experience statements from at least one customer during the last years about the quality of training done have to be delivered, or, alternatively, certificates from ISEB teacher courses attended. (The Accreditation Board reserves the right to ask for more references.).

d)     Identification of language(s) the accreditation is applied for (plus evidence that the language(s) is/are spoken and written well enough). (Evidence may be gathered in an audit).

The material submitted by an applicant For Reaccreditation for evaluation shall include:

a)     Identification of the old accreditation;

b)     Identification of accredited course material to be used plus a copy of it;

c)     A statement concerning any changes done to the course material after the original accreditation.

Note: Any changes to the course material that are more than minor improvements of language, spelling and layout require reaccreditation.

d)     Documentation that the trainer(s) hold the certification(s) which they intend to teach;

e)     Documentation of each proposed trainer’s testing, training and language experiences (requirements: see under Application for trainer accreditation);

f)      Documentation of the last year’s examination results per trainer (for Reaccreditation only).

  • Akkrediteringsgebyr for kurseier – et foundation kurs eller et advanced modul, inklusive 2 lærere: 24.000,00  NOK
  • Akkrediteringsgebyr for et ekstra språk: 12.000,00  NOK
  • Reakkrediteringsgebyr for 3 år: 12.000,00  NOK
  • Reakkrediteringsgebyr for et ekstra språk: 6.000,00  NOK
  • Godkjennelse av ny / ekstra lærer: 5.000,00  NOK
